Websites and digital presence

A clear website. Properly looked after.

Your website should help people understand what you do, decide whether you're right for them and get in touch. We work on the content, structure and technology behind that experience.

Talk about your website

When your online presence needs attention.

  • Your website no longer explains what the business actually does.

  • Visitors struggle to find the right information or contact you on a phone.

  • You're unsure who controls the domain, hosting or access to the site.

  • The site needs changes, but nobody has a clear responsibility for maintaining it.

The work

The site, and the things that keep it working.

We begin with what visitors need to know and what the site needs to do. The technology should support that purpose and be practical to maintain.

Website builds and rebuilds

A new site or a considered update, with clear navigation, readable pages and useful contact paths. We check the existing platform, access and integrations before proposing changes, and reuse useful content and imagery. A full rebuild is not the default.

Content and digital strategy

A clearer account of your services, the questions visitors need answered and the pages that deserve real depth. We connect the page structure and content to a clear purpose, audience and next step, rather than simply adding more pages.

Domains and hosting

Domains, renewals, hosting and DNS — the settings that direct your domain to services such as the website and email. We coordinate these connections, check access and establish responsibilities before changing something the wider business relies on.

Light-touch hosting and care

For sites that change infrequently, hosting can include minor approved updates, such as replacing supplied text or an image on an existing page. New pages, new content, design changes, functionality, integrations and regular publishing are scoped separately.

Working together

A clear purpose, then a practical plan.

  1. Set the purpose

We look at your visitors, what they need to understand and how enquiries should reach you. Existing content, imagery, access and platform constraints help shape the brief.

  2. Define the work

We set out what will change, what content is needed and who supplies or approves it. For a hosting transfer, that includes the access and checks needed to move the existing site.

  3. Build and review

A build or update is reviewed against its purpose, including the pages, mobile layouts and contact journey. We agree what needs checking and who approves the change before launch.

  4. Agree the ongoing care

We establish who handles hosting, renewals and future changes. A low-change site may need light-touch care; a site publishing regularly needs its own content plan and working arrangement.

Your domain stays in your name.

Your domain remains registered in your business's name. You retain your data, with access and handover arrangements that explain how to continue with the site or move providers, including any platform limitations.

Moving hosting is not a redesign.

A hosting transfer moves the existing site. Redesigns and repairs are separate decisions; we flag known concerns before moving anything.

Common questions

Can you just host the site and make small updates?

Yes, where the platform and access are suitable. A light-touch arrangement can include hosting and minor approved updates using supplied text or images on existing pages. We agree the practical boundaries before taking it on.

What if we need new content regularly?

Regular publishing, writing new material and creating pages need a separate content arrangement. Bring an outline of what you expect to publish and how often, so we can discuss the work and approval process.

Do we need a new website?

Not necessarily. We look at the existing content, structure, platform, access and integrations first. Targeted improvements may be enough. Useful existing material should carry forward whether we improve the site or rebuild it.

What happens to our domain and email?

We check how the domain connects to the website and email before making changes, and coordinate with relevant providers. Moving a website does not necessarily mean moving your email or changing your domain registration.

Do we need Managed Technology as well?

No. Website projects and hosting can be agreed on their own. Websites and domains can also form part of Managed Technology where they belong in the wider environment we look after.

Tell us what the site needs to do.

Send us your current website, if you have one, and a few words about what needs to change. You don't need to choose a platform or prepare a complete brief first.
